City Presentation

Impression of presentations about a city.

Today, we did presentations about cities. I talked about Delhi, the capital of India. I didn't make a script before the presentation. However, I could make a speech to some extent. I want to practice presentations to speak more fluently. I feel I didn't make enough eye contact with lisners. So I will try it on the next presentation.

Let me introduce one of my friends.

He is Kevin, from the US. He is twenty years old. He is a handsome man and a movie actor in Hollywood. But he has disheveled hair. He wears sunglasses but they slips down his eyes. There is a cigarette in his mouth. He wears a white shirt and a black tie. And he puts on a pair of suspenders.

What students said about my first presentation.

     Some students said it was easy to understand my presentation. On the other hand, there were a few people who said I didn't have enough pictures. So I should have added some pictures on my presentation. With regard to the way I spoke, some people said I should speak more loudly and slowly. This is the most important point I should improve. My presentaion will not be better unless I improve this point.

The reflection of first presentation

     Last week we did the presentation about self-introduction. To improve my presentation I shouldn't look at the manuscript during the presentation. If I have it at the presentation, I certainly look at not listeners' eyes but the manuscript. I think one of the important things at presentations is make eye contact with my listeners.  Eye contact helps me convey my opinions to the listeners. That's why I will try to do this at the next presentation.

Recently, I'm absorbed in Samurai X( Rurounikennsinn, in Japanese). It's a comic book published about 15 years ago. It is enjoyable to read this. Why don't you read this once?
